Dec. 2nd, 2007 09:49 pmNot to be an alarmist, but I am concerned about all the recent changes on LJ - in particular the most recent - the buyout of LJ by a Russian company. And yes, I am too damned tired and otherwise occupied to link to all the various places this is being disseminated - you'll have to do your own legwork on this one if you aren't already in the loop.
Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone else has the desire to keep in contact with friends they've made exclusively through LJ, and if there are other blogspaces you're already in that you would migrate to if LJ goes wacked.
First person who says "MySpace!!!!111!!!" will get kicked in the teeth.
Okay, so not really. You can say it if you want.
I just may think less of you as a person, but you shouldn't take that, you know, personally or anything.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Date: 2007-12-03 02:15 pm (UTC)My sister in law just moved her account there, and though it lacks the ease of the friends button, it's fairly easy to navigate, and feels a lot like livejounal. (which is why I've always liked livejournal) Anyhow, check it out. Might be a good option.
