Status Report

my_window_seatAll current homework for class completed. Got 100% on 3 out of 4 quizzes, and can comfortably live with the 91.7% on the 4th quiz. Fuck it. I figure I've still blown the Bell Curve.
Website is up and active. Have only received 3 orders so far. Doesn't look like it's going to be even the trickle-in source of income that I was hoping for, but it still feels like it was a valuable learning experience, regardless. Will continue to explore advertising options and things like contests or freebie offers to see if I can't give it a foot up.
Painting work - have another humongous order, but I'm basically just going to do what I can, rather than trying to fucking kill myself to get it churned out as fast as the last one. They had added over 40 pieces to the original order when I picked it up on Friday, so they can fecking well allow me the time to finish it. No more week-long stints of working 'til dawn's early light - just because I like working at night does not mean I enjoy working all night, every night. I say, fuck that shit. They'll get it when they get it. Harumph.
The correction to my Financial Aid report for the Summer Return has been completed - and I have no idea what it means, and will have to make yet another slog over to the campus to have someone translate it for me. But, it does look like a better figure, and I'm hoping it means that I will qualify, not only for loans, but for some grant money as well. Yay, free money.
DVR will pay for the axle repairs to the car, though not the tune up, which is the more expensive of the two. But damn skippy, it's generous of them to do anything at all for me, and I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. The tune up will have to wait, but I can possibly space parts of it out and get bits done here and there, as income allows.
Ack. Need to get to the vid store for the evening shift.
