Necessity Demands
Feb. 23rd, 2004 06:46 pmWith much reluctance, I have decided to give up the retail table at the Club.
I just moments ago finished the fucking painting order, after 6 nights straight of working through the night, until dawn, in between shifts at the vid store. And there are orders that have piled up in the interim, and the dealine I set for having the website ready is fast approaching. And there is new homework posted for class. And I still need to file the taxes and the new financial aid app.
I have too much on my plate. I should have read Rob Brezny's forecast sooner:
According to my analysis of the astrological omens, it's time for you to make two corrections. First, you are suffering from an exaggerated sense of what's possible to accomplish in the short term. I urge you to deflate your grandiosity a bit. Second, your expectations of what you can pull off in the long run are way too small. I authorize you to pump them up.
That's it, in a nutshell.
I have to cut away the fat, and focus on getting back into school with a quickness. Of course, also on the pending painting orders, because there are no charities designed to keep me housed until such time as what, if any, financial aid I'll get for school.
This has been an emotionally draining and disappointing few days.
