I have completed my downloaded collection of Dead Like Me. I now have every episode.

In other news, my router appears to be going gradually toes up.

There's probably some kind of karmic lesson in all this.

It's, er, a doohickey that goes between my modem and the outside world that kinda acts like an Internet Security Guard - keeps the Forces of Evil - teenage geeks - from hacking my box whilst it churns away untended at all hours. Without it, I don't trust my computer to be on and connected to the intarweb when I'm not home or awake. It's not critical to the functioning of my computer, but for someone who's as codependently attached to my connectivity, it's pretty close to being a necessity.

I got this one used from Gabi; I guess it was just a little closer to it's shelf date than I'd hoped. I got it cheap ($20), but it's still a bummer. A new one will set me back at least $50.

On the other hand, if I hadn't gotten this one first, I would have bought something that I didn't know how to use and probably never would have learned how to configure it correctly - Gabi really helped me out with that. So this was kind of like training wheels - when I replace it, I'll get the same kind, and I'll have the added benefit of knowing how to use it.

It all works out, neh?

I've been using Bittorrent ABC client lately - been having much better luck than with stuff like WinMX and that ilk.
