Mind, I'm not a vegan by any stretch, or even a vegetarian by a mile - animals will have to damn well STOP BEING TASTY before I stop consuming them -

But hailing from the Northwest with its plentiful and fresh produce, I miss the kind of cooking I used to do before going to the grocery meant yet another face-off with nothing more or less than the inevitable broccoli-peppers-root veg et al, unchanging and immutable, til end of days.
