Has anyone heard of a filter to block twitter feeds from LJ friends pages? If so, please to be passing this awesome knowledge on, and I will thank you muchly.
It's not worth unfriending someone over, it's just not my favorite thing - a little too much like having to sit through one-sided cell phone conversations in public places.
There'd be no way to do it. They're nothing special, just LJ entries that are written by an external service. Once they're posted, they're indistinguishable from those written by hand.
If the problem with the twitter feeds is that the replied, or "@" comments are included, then you could possibly request that the poster change their feed settings to leave those out. Otherwise there's no fix other than to scroll past the entries. Fortunately they're easy to spot.
Well, bah - it appears I have an unsupported style - but I may take a look at the supported one later and see if I feel like switching. And then see if I have the patience to figure out how to edit the code - er, um.
