What would happen if you made a small amount of joyful noise, then passed it around?

The guy with the idea for Telephono is doing something really interesting - his blog unfortunately is crap, information-wise and set-up wise;  the story at NPR is more informative - but anyway, the idea -

Create a sound file, and pass it around, letting other people do with it what they will.
See what it's turned into by the time it makes it back to you.

Go, shoo - check out the results of his experiment.

I hope to see this kind of thing happening more often.

Yeah, it's a fun idea - the main problem you normally find with it is people who say they want in and then bail out. I did something similar a while ago with comics, which led to this.
