my_window_seatJust as a note, not that the pertinent party will care, but *I* care - I wasn't the one to fix the relatively easy battery replacement - my buddy and long-suffering computer-whiz pal, Adam, did. He's bailed me out in a number of situations, and despite plenty of instances in which he could have justifiably told me to go take a flying leap, he remains a thing of beauty and a joy forever in me lil' heart. When I don't want to smack him for one reason or another, also justifiably so.
I'm still plagued with a shortage of RAM, but I may be brave tomorrow - er, later today - and see if I can still float the necessary apps to tinker with the website and get more images ready. If not, I guess I'll try to test the cards I have and see which one went toes-up, and then see if I can scrape together some change for new RAM. If I can handle the DIY, it shouldn't set me back more than some change. And it may come down to that - but that's why I have the change jar on the shelf, isn't it?
Whuff. After a fully poopy day, I still managed to put in a full night's work on the pottery. Tomorrow, I'll have to have one of those flashbacks to high school - where you don't write your final paper until the day it's due and have to crank it out and hope for the best. I had planned on spending tonight writing up drafts of my Degree Plan to present to my therapist-turned-vocational-coach, in preparation to present it to DVR later this month. After all the hassle of today - not just the computer, some other annoyances as well - it seemed like resorting to repetitive color therapy via the paintbrushes was probably going to be a more constructive use of my time. Not to mention more financially viable. Unless I think of it in terms of, completing the Degree Plan is part of the work with DVR to help me get financial aid to get into school by Summer Semester...
Yeah. It's all of a piece.
Anyway, that's the goal for tomorrow.
