May. 20th, 2007 03:00 amSooooo drunk right now that in a logical universe? I should not be able to type this.
This not being a logical universe (well, at least last time I checked Bush was still in office, so, logic? not a such strong power) -
Yeah. So drunk it's lucky I got home with my glasses. Having misplaced them twice during the course of the evening.
Which still doesn't sound like much of a tear - a person could misplace glasses at a garden party, how does this document my current state of inebriation?
Evidence:
Two very good friends - talked me out of getting a tattoo tonight.
...
Which I am still not entirely convinced would have been *that* horrible a thing - I wasn't thinking about anything other than a simple 3" piece of tribal design work - sheesh!
Still -
It's nice to know I have such good people watching my, er, back.
Even that miniscule three inches I considered tattooing.
:: sigh ::
Had the best time tonight I can remember having had in... :: thinks drunkenly :: Hmm. A very, very long time.
Happy B-Day, Adam.
Thanks for a lovely evening. Srsly. The bonfire was exactly the right note on which to end it.
Nancy, Marshall and neighbor-who-doesn't-read-LJ - merci beaucoups, aussi - but more importantly -
Thanks for attending the party at which I had a splendid time. Which of course was not the central idea of the evening (wasn't my birthday) - but heck -
Glad you were there.
Thus endeth the semi-annual drunken saga of ~D~.
Cheers, all -
Night.

Date: 2007-05-20 09:19 am (UTC)I love it when people use question marks to accentuate statements like that. Haha.
Hmm...
Date: 2007-05-20 03:54 pm (UTC)So much for not getting drunk!
And you should have gotten the tattoo! ;-)
Re: Hmm...
Date: 2007-05-20 04:26 pm (UTC)See, that's what I'm talkin' about. Even now, in the light of day and slightly hungover, I can honestly say I wouldn't have regretted it. Aside from the whole itchy-burny thing, but that passes.
Still - I think just the idea was sufficient fun, and it wasn't worth riling Nancy and Rob up by protesting any further - I think they would have resorted to a full-body tackle if I'd persisted - and if nothing else, I am not a belligerent drunk. Giggly and with a tendency to talk too much, but not belligerent.
Anywho... yay for my almost-tattoo!
