What fresh hell is this?

my_window_seatMy computer has been making - noises lately.
As in, it used to be a completely silent being that lived under my desk and quietly did its job without comment.
Lately, it's started making - wheezing sounds. Like - I don't know - an old aircraft trying to make it's final ascent.
Not at any particular time, and not constantly. It's intermittent.
But it's becomming more and more frequent.
I haven't noticed a difference in performance, but this is starting to really worry me.
Argh.
Oh, yes. Argh.

Esp. if said computer starts making noise like a lawn mower being run over an asphalt driveway.
