Number of items actually accomplished in said time: 2.5
Lesson learned: Meh. Fuck it.

Ammendment: There were things that weren't on the list that I did get done - including putting up the blinds on the windows which took two days instead of the hour or two that I thought it would... Credit, please?

Actually, I didn't so much learn a lesson as realize that there are lessons I still have yet to learn. Like:

- Not taking on so many things all at the same time.

- Letting things go - really, actually letting them go - and being okay with sometimes flying by the seat of my pants because of it.

- Not feeling guilty about not being able to get every damn thing done all the damn time.

What did I get out of my vacation? I'd've gotten a little more out of it if I hadn't given in to the guilt monster, but it it was still good.

- FINALLY got to see Nikki and Mommy again for the first time since CHRISTMAS.

- Got those effing blinds up. Grar.

- Got my taxes done and DOUBLED my return - keeping all your old tax returns is pretty handy when sorting out how to do it again the next year, yep yep yep.

- Completed and submitted my FAFSA for next year. Whee.

- Rearranged the livingroom furniture to accomodate a new bookcase (from the neighbors what gifted me the the blinds as well)

- Sorted paperwork. Oh, the thrills, the chills, the excitement.

- Hung out some with the remaining cool neighbors.

- Got caught up on sleep. Yesssssss.....

- Did some cooking. Yummmmm.....

- Saving the best for last, natch - got to spend some quality time with My Fella^TM, getting to know him better, and learning how to chill and get used to the idea that someone as freakin' wonderful as he is could be so freakin' good to me.

Yeah, yeah, isn't my life hard? Hand me a hankie.

Now to get back to the task of getting back into school mode.
