It continues to snow like a motherfucker outside.

It hasn't stopped all day.

What's weird is that I'm not filled with the child-like glee from last week, when I would have traded my eye teeth (what exactly are eye teeth?) for it to KEEP SNOWING.

Right now, it's really just weirding me out.

A desert full of snow.

Eeep.

I've had an amazingly sucktacular vacation so far. Parts of it have been all right (Christmas was nice; catching up with Adam was also), but by and large, it's been - ::unintelligble gargling noise::

One thing is for sure - when I finally graduate from school, I am getting out of this town so fast I'll leave skid marks. Not that this town is the source of my current malaise - I'm just sure that I am long overdue for a change of scenery.

Okay, so maybe I should qualify that statement....

I can't believe that there are still people who don't believe in climate change. I've got 5+ inches of snow right now I'd like to cram down their deliberately ignorant fucking throats.

Why isn't snow making me happy right now?

Yeah, I was supposed to start driving the kidlet back to her dad's house today. There are six inches of snow outside my house that have told me otherwise. I've never been annoyed by snow before today.

Thanks GOD you didn't decide to make the drive. Screw her dad - more time for you and the monkey. Unless you're getting cabin fever - that's a bummer. Send her outside tomorrow and have her make an igloo - that ought to keep her busy. :)

I have to leave tomorrow morning. She needs to be back ASAP, because she starts school on the second. But, everything west of here is pretty much cleared now, and will be much safer tomorrow morning. :)
