I read a quote recently that I can't remember well enough to regurgitate exactly, but it was something along the lines of, "If you aren't happy with what you already have, why do you think that having more would make you happy?"

I realized today that I was happy.

I like my neighbors. A lot. I'm in school, which I don't always like, but - I have a lot of it...? I have a warm home, two cats, and I'm going to be getting neat things in the mail.

Instead of just watching the snow fall outside and my neighbor happily playing in it, I went out and joined her.
