Pardon me for one moment of smugness: I really wasn't sweating this. Any school that would turn down a Dean's List/Honor Roll student with a consistent 3.9/4.0 GPA throughout their college career doesn't deserve me. Nyah.

I probably won't start until Spring semester though, because a) I'm pretty sure there's still a semester's worth of stuff I can take at TVI at a MUCH cheaper rate, b) I'd like that one more semester to just get used to the idea of transferring, c) I'd like to move closer to campus and complete said move before making the transition, and d) I missed the deadline to apply for scholarships for the Fall semester, and even though I still don't know what the price tag will be, I'm quite sure that I don't even want to think about it until I can try for some scholarships.

On a related note, something entirely unexpected - ALL OF MY COLLEGE LEVEL CLASSES TRANSFERED OVER. Not just from TVI but from Seattle Pacific University as well. In my experience it's rare that this happens, so fuckin' wooty-woot all over that. Now, whether or not these classes will actually work to compensate for the majority of the pre-reqs is still to be determined; have to go to the Fine Arts Dept. and the School of Ed. to determine that. The signs, however, are good.

Babe, you're already within SPITTING distance of your AA from that shithole anyway - TVI won't be able to offer you anything better than that; the highest degree they have is an AA as well. You'd need to go somewhere else for a Bachelors, and TVI didn't take a bucket-full of my credits, neither - UNM did, tho.

Actually, i wanna take classes i'd like for a change: Spanish, Welding, Computer classes pertinent to my field, with a smattering of photography---if nothing else, it'd be for the sake of loan diferment(sp?)

Um. I think that only works if you're enrolled full-time and working towards a degree - but don't trust me. I'm a regular in the Financial Aid office because I have to keep having them re-explain shit to me. But deferment aside, you can just take those kinds of classes for fun or whatever without worrying about transfering things if you aren't aiming for a degree. It's not like TVI turns people away. Christ, if you have a pulse you can get enrolled there.
