my_window_seatOn September 13th, for the first time since 1996, Assault Weapons will once again be legal.
Someone remind me again how this is supposed to be helpful in the much-vaunted "War Against Terror" - not to mention, what in the bleeding-f*ck does anyone really need a g*ddamn grenade launcher for, anyway?
Guess we'll find out soon, won't we?
On the other hand, it's not as though there aren't plenty of weapons that have been legal anyway that, while complying with the letter of the law, are still as lethal if not more so than the ones that will no longer be banned.
::sigh::
As for bans, I may end up extending my personal ban on major media to include NPR. I'm getting really tired of constantly being upset about sh*t I can do absolutely nothing about.
